Tom passionately coaches executives and organizations by strengthening leaders, teams and processes. He is an experienced leader with expertise in growing teams and scaling organizations for growth. Tom has proven skills and insight in helping teams identify and navigate where change is needed for organizational improvement.

Tom has served in the role of Vice President and CHRO of Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC for 14 years. Prior to that, he served as Chief Safety Officer for 10 years and CIO for 8 years. Brasfield & Gorrie is a $5 Billion construction company with 3,500 employees. Tom served in these roles to create change and improvements to meet growth needs and to create alignment with the business.

Tom is passionate about leadership development and has worked with Brent Consulting Group for over 15 years on various leadership and team improvement projects. Tom and BCG develop custom solutions tailored to each client’s specific needs with goal of having highly engaged employees, high trust environments and improved business outcomes.

Tom received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from UAB and a M.S. in Construction Management from Auburn University.

Tom enjoys serving others in capacities outside of work. He has served as a board member and president of local and state soccer organizations of Alabama for over 20 years and is a board member of Auburn University’s Center for Inclusive Engineering Excellence. He also serves on the vestry of his church and volunteers with the United Way of Central Alabama. He has been married to his wife, Anne, for 39 years and has four children and seven grandchildren.
