Jody has over 20 years of experience cultivating and developing leaders in the United States Navy, academia, and as a business practitioner. After military service, Jody worked for one of the country’s largest healthcare companies where he developed and enhanced his leadership and business practitioner skill set. As an academic leader, he understands the importance of developing effective operational leaders, capable of recognizing and implementing strategies to achieve organizational objectives. In partnership with his clients, Jody enjoys being an ally and advocate for organizational leaders, by offering leaders with a reflective lens toward the development of strategies and practices yielding positive market trajectory and working collaboratively to develop a strong team environment able to recognize and ascertain the operational objectives of the organization. Furthermore, you will find that he is a dedicated business practitioner who is personable, friendly and open to free-flowing conversation able to multi-task and adapt to any challenging organizational situations.
Jody holds an MBA from Bethel University. He is in his final doctorate level class at Trevecca Nazarene University set to defend his doctorate dissertation on 23 November 2020. Outside of work, Jody and his wife Tamara (EdD) enjoy raising their three boys (Ethan, Prestin, and Zach) and love to travel to Banff, Canada, the Rocky Mountains, and San Diego. He also accompanies Tamara on mission trips to Guatemala. He loves to workout and always finds available time to attend Crossfit and strongman training sessions. During hunting season, Jody can be found via GPS in the woods and / or camping.
